Last half term, our Year 5 children had the opportunity to visit the Tommy statue at Seaham as part of their First World War topic. The Tommy statue commemorates those who fought in the First World War and it was a great experience for the children to see it in person. As a special treat, the children also enjoyed some delicious ice creams!
