Last half term, as part of the Gateshead School Sports Partnerships Blazing the Trail project, our Year 5/6 children wrote a song around the theme of ‘Inspiration’.
The whole school, from Nursery to Year 6, were involved in the making of our music video. We entered our song and music video into the competition and we are so proud to say that out of all of the Gateshead schools who entered, Carr Hill WON the competition!
Tonight we attended the Gateshead School Sports Partnership awards ceremony at The Fed in Dunston and we had the privilege of performing our Carr Hill anthem on stage before receiving our inspiration award!
Kids of Carr Hill, we are so proud of you and this achievement!
