Our Year 1 and 2 children started off the half term with a brilliant WOW Day to introduce their new topic ‘A Village in Africa’.
The children got involved in lots of different activities which included making African inspired necklaces and masks with Mrs Edge and Mrs Morris. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring African music and getting involved in some African style bucket drumming with Mrs McNally and Mrs McClean! With Mrs Henderson, the children prepared and enjoyed delicious African inspired food!
