Our Year 1 children had a fantastic day at Beamish last week exploring how houses and homes have changed over time. We explored homes in the Pit Village, the 1950’s area and the Town.
We also had time to try some of the tasty treats Beamish has to offer. We tried some chips from the 1950s chip shop, some delicious shortbread from the bakery and some old fashioned sweets!
