Our Year 3 children have been fortunate enough to have Hayley, an experienced yoga teacher, in our school this half term, supporting us with our understanding of what yoga is and applying yoga poses, balances and breathing techniques in lessons.
The ‘Mountain’ pose, the ‘Flower’ pose and the ‘Caterpillar’ pose are just a few of the Spring time poses we have been learning.
The children have loved applying their knowledge of the yoga poses and balances in a way that promotes mindfulness, concentration and calm.
