Our Year 3 and Year 4 children had a fantastic visit to Beamish Museum!

We began the day by stepping into the shoes of evacuees, where the children experienced what it was like to prepare for a blackout.

After lunch, we explored the school and cinema and even had time to enjoy the 1950s play park.

The day was rounded off perfectly with a tram ride back to the minibuses.

A huge well done to our amazing children who, as always, represented Carr Hill brilliantly. The workshop leaders commented on how well behaved all of the children were, including Mr McGill’s and Mrs Welsh’s classes!
