Our Nursery children have been learning about the different animals you would find on a farm. They have been learning about what sounds they make, where and how they live and also what they eat.
We visited our local farm at Bill Quay and got to see some of the animals we had learnt about. We got to feed some goats, pigs, alpacas and chickens. We also got to see some smaller domestic animals like rabbits, chinchillas and a ferret.
We had such a lovely day. The bus ride was exciting and so was eating our lunch at the picnic benches outside.
