Our Year 1 children read a lovely book in PSHE called “Only One You” written by Linda Kranz which opened up discussion about how we are all individuals and that is what makes us special.
We discussed how we are all unique and we all like different things and that’s what makes the world a very special and exciting place!
The children then created their very own special fish, linking to the story they had just read. We chatted throughout about how everyone’s fish looked different but they were all special.
