Year 1 had a fantastic visit to Gateshead Library to celebrate their participation in the Summer Reading Challenge. The children were proud to receive their medals and certificates in recognition of their enthusiasm and commitment to reading over the summer holidays.
The library staff shared some of their favourite Halloween stories which the children really enjoyed.
During the visit, they also enjoyed exploring the library and selecting new books to bring back to school, helping to foster a lifelong love of reading.
We are incredibly proud of all the children for their achievement and for representing our school so positively.
