Victorian Toys

2 November 2026

In History last half term, our Year 1 and Year 2 children learned all about traditional Victorian toys.

We explored toys that rich Victorian children would play with in comparison to toys played with by poor Victorian children.

One particular toy that was popular in the Victorian era for poor children was the cup and ball toy!

We had a go at making our own!
