Earlier this half term, we were fortunate to have eight members of our team successfully complete their Flexi‑Bounce Rebound Therapy training. As a result, we are now able to offer Flexi‑Bounce Rebound Therapy to our children. The remaining staff will receive further training over the coming weeks.
Flexi‑Bounce Rebound Therapy involves the use of an orthopaedic‑quality mini trampoline (rebounder) to provide therapeutic, low‑impact movement activities. These activities are designed to support the development of balance, coordination, posture, muscle tone, confidence, and overall physical wellbeing. Sessions may include sitting, kneeling, standing, and gentle bouncing, and are always adapted to suit each child’s individual needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to take part in Flexi‑Bounce activities as part of their curriculum and we are extremely lucky to now have a set of 12 rebounders within our school setting.
We are looking forward to starting our Flexi-Bounce journey and sharing some of the activities we have been up to.
