This year, our KS2 children have had the amazing opportunity to learn the sport of cricket through sessions lead by some fabulous coaches. From bowling to batting to fielding, the children thoroughly enjoyed learning and upskilling themselves in cricket.
Once the cricket coaching sessions came to an end, we were invited, as a Key Stage, to attend a Carr Hill cricket tournament at Gateshead Cricket Club and what a great day we had. The children were able to use all their knowledge and skills of the game and use them in a mini tournament.
