We use sensory circuits on a morning to provide our children with structured activities designed to help them regulate their sensory needs and prepare for learning. They provide opportunities for movement and sensory input that support concentration, emotional regulation, coordination, and attention.

By helping children feel calm, alert, and ready to learn, sensory circuits can improve engagement in the classroom and promote confidence, wellbeing, and successful participation throughout the school day.

This week our alerting activity was jumps into hoops, our organising task was transporting beanbags though the tunnel and throwing them into a hoop and our calming activity was one of our favourite yoga moves ‘downward dog’.
