Winter RUNderland is our Christmas themed, physical activity challenge, that all of the school can get involved in.

Every Christmas Eve, Santa Claus travels around the globe to deliver presents to all of the worlds’ children. Of course he doesn’t do this alone and relies on his trusty reindeer to help him! They get tired quickly and need plenty of carrots to give them energy. This is where your children come in…

…The more physical activity they can do as a class, the more carrots they’ll earn to feed the reindeer and help them on their journey. They need to earn a total of 300 carrots between Monday 2nd and Friday 20th December 2024 to ensure Santa and his reindeer have enough carrots to make it all the way around the world this Christmas Eve.

Look out for our world map that shows the route that will be taken around the world. The journey is split into ‘legs’ as Santa and his reindeer move from continent to continent. Each leg requires a specified number of carrots to complete (e.g. the first leg from Europe to North America requires 60 carrots to complete).

Over the next three weeks, we will keep you posted with the wonderful things your children will get up to, to feed the reindeer and help Santa on his journey!
