The children in Key Stage One have visited Thornley Wood this week to explore a woodland habitat. We followed the sculpture trail and looked for some of the trees and plants we have been studying in our science curriculum. We had a great adventure and the children enjoyed identifying and sketching woodland creatures. The highlight of our visit was spotting a local red kite flying overhead!
