Our Year 6 children had an amazing opportunity to explore an interactive, hands on exhibition, divided into engaging STEM-themed zones at this years STEMFest. It was a great opportunity for our children to get an idea of the vast opportunities of STEM careers available locally.

In Science, our Year 3 and Year 4 children have been learning about rocks. Today, we enjoyed a visit to Saltwell Park. The purpose of our visit was to find different types of rock and discuss their purpose. We also had a mini scavenger hunt which tested our knowledge of rocks and volcanoes.
