Year 6 have had a great day today at Gibside. We enjoyed sitting around the fire toasting marshmallows and making s’mores. We worked together to build dens before tackling the low ropes challenge. We ended our day with a visit to Strawberry Castle play area.
What a lovely day our Year 5 children have had at Gibside today. We started our day with some den building before toasting marshmallows on the fire. We then enjoyed challenging ourselves on the low ropes course. We ended our visit with a play at Strawberry Castle.
Our Year 5/6 children had a lovely visit to Gibside this week. We worked together in teams building some amazing dens before sitting down beside the fire to toast marshmallows to make some delicious s’mores. After lunch, we tackled the low ropes challenge and ended our visit with a trip to Strawberry Castle play area.
Last week, some of our Year 4 and 5 girls played in a football tournament and came 2nd! Well done girls!
Year 5 have been conducting their product research ahead of making their own breads this half term. Their evaluations will inform their bread designs. We can’t wait to see our budding bakers in action!
A huge congratulations to Ewan and his team mates for participating in the Golf Sixes League. The league consists of 6 meets where teams win points that are accumulated over the various tournaments. Ewan hopes to use his golf skills to beat his dad across the golf course!
