What a fantastic day Mrs Edge’s class had at Gibside this week. The sun was shining and it was lovely to spend the day outdoors.
Our Year 6 children had an amazing opportunity to explore an interactive, hands on exhibition, divided into engaging STEM-themed zones at this years STEMFest. It was a great opportunity for our children to get an idea of the vast opportunities of STEM careers available locally.

What a fantastic day our Year 2a children had at Gibside last week!
A group of our Key Stage 2 children participated in the Sportshall Athletics Qualifier, organised by our Gateshead School Sports Partnership last week. They worked brilliantly as a team, showed immense resilience and were so supportive of each other. The focus for this event was determination, which our children showed throughout the events.
Despite the rain, our Year 1b and 2b children have had a fantastic day at Gibside today.
