A visit from Santa
This morning the children received an exciting visit from Santa. Thankfully, all the boys and girls were on the nice list and thoroughly enjoyed getting their gift.
Festive Fun at our Winter Celebration
Our Year 5 and 6 children have had lots of festive fun this afternoon at their party. We enjoyed playing different party games and we danced our socks off! After the party, we returned to our classrooms and enjoyed some party food. We all looked super smart in our party clothes!

Carr Hill Choir Perform for Parents and Carers
What a lovely evening we had tonight listening to the choir showcasing their talent for some of our parents and carers. The children sang a range of songs and ended with some classic Christmas songs! A huge thank you to the parents and carers who came to watch!
Brilliant Bikeability!
A massive well done to some of our Year 5 children who have received either their Level 1 or Level 2 bikeability certificates this week. Year 5/6 Go to Gibside
Our Year 5/6 children had a lovely visit to Gibside this week. We worked together in teams building some amazing dens before sitting down beside the fire to toast marshmallows to make some delicious s’mores. After lunch, we tackled the low ropes challenge and ended our visit with a trip to Strawberry Castle play area.
