The children in Key Stage One have visited Newcastle Castle as part of their History topic. The children enjoyed a tour of the castle and were amazed by the beautiful views of Newcastle from the top of the castle keep.
They also took part in a ‘Knight School’ workshop where they learnt all about the jobs within the castle and how a knight was trained. They got to handle all of the knights armour and weapons and had there very own battle!
