Making Kebabs

As part of our DT work in Key Stage One, we have been designing and making fruit kebabs. Before we designed our kebabs we investigated where different fruits come from and tasted some fruits from around the world. We also had to practice our cutting, peeling and chopping skills before we made our own kebabs.

London Mini Marathon

As a whole school we completed our own Mini London Marathon challenge. Over the course of a week we ran a total combined distance equivalent to the 26 Mile London Marathon. We had such fun running and cheering on our friends.

Key Stage One Visit Saltwell Park

Last week, the children in Year Two enjoyed a visit to the library to selected some books to bring back to school. They also got to enjoy a scavenger hunt and a story telling session with one of the library staff.
