During our visit to Gibside we made a donation and collected some apples from the walled garden. We used the apples to make a delicious apple cake that we shared with our friends. We worked together, peeling and chopping the apples . Then we followed the recipe and mixed all the ingredients together to make our cake. We served it with custard and everyone had a try. It was delicious!
