Last week, our Year 5 children enjoyed a visit to Gibside. They took part in a camp fire workshop, where they got to make and cook their own bread on a fire pit. This was linked to the work they are doing in English and will help form part of their non- chronological report writing.
We also got the chance to take part in a nature scavenger hunt in the walled garden, den building in the woods and some free time in Strawberry Castle play area.
