A huge thank you to the amazing author Naomi Barley who visited our Reception and Year 1 children today. We had the opportunity to listen to Naomi read her brand new children’s book “The Zig Zags”. We also enjoyed discussing and drawing the different characters from the story.
Last week, both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 were invited to a music workshop, sharing local music by our wonderful Gateshead’s Music Service.
Our Year 1 and 2 children started off the half term with a brilliant WOW Day to introduce their new topic ‘A Village in Africa’. A huge thank you to all parents and carers who managed to come to our Key Stage One Christmas Craft afternoon. It was lovely for the children to spend time with you all having fun making their crafts.
What a lovely day we’ve had today for our Christmas Craft Day. Today has consisted of making our annual Christmas calendars and cards. We also made a special Christmas decoration! We are all now looking forward to Wednesday for our parents Christmas Craft afternoon!
Winter RUNderland is our Christmas themed, physical activity challenge, that all of the school can get involved in.
