Exploring African Music and Dance in Year 3
As part of our WOW day last week in Year 3, we went into the hall and used authentic African drums and instruments to play games and appreciate music from all over Africa, from the Sahara in the North to Ghana in the West!
Making African Masks in Year 3
To launch our Africa topic in Year 3, we have recreated masks from various parts of Africa. We looked at their design, purpose and meaning. We made some wonderful, bold masks and shared them with our friends.
